This is a hands-on cloud engineering role, with a focus on migrating clients workloads to the cloud, reporting to the Cloud Projects and Consulting Director for the Infrastructure Services Global Cloud Practice. The purpose of the role is to focus on delivering infrastructure migrations to public cloud for large, global clients. This role includes ownership of technical, commercial, and service elements related to cloud migration project engagements along with building IaaS/PaaS infrastructure landing zones.
The successfully hired candidate will ensure high customer satisfaction delivering migrations of clients environments to public cloud. The candidate would ensure a highly satisfied customer experience and drive to reduce labor input, costs, implementation time, and time to benefit. The candidate will help increase profit margins and enhance consistent delivery and operational efficiency. The candidate should expect to work in parallel across multiple deals and look to assist in the industrialization of the process to support the rapid timescales opportunities demand. The successful candidate must have a fully flexible approach to working hours and working away from home during the week; willing to work nationally, post covid.
Key Role & Responsibility:
This is a hands-on Solution Architect and engineering role, with a focus on enabling customers to act using FinOps Foundation principles applied to a multi-tenant Cloud Provider landscape. The successful candidate will have Pre-Sales experience, architecture / engineering, data modeling, and development integrating components

Key Role & Responsibility:
The Cloud Management Leader is a cloud role in the project delivery cycle with hands on experience migrating customers to the cloud. This role will work closely with clients, partners, and other business units to ensure consulting engagements are successful.
Required:
• Pre-sales experience in a service provider environment focused on cloud management and FinOps solutions, including solution design, estimates, and customer proposals.
• Program management experience leading a cross-functional team to deliver a FinOps program using product-oriented methods (roadmap, backlog, measurable outcomes).
• Software Development experience using Agile principles (e.g., SDLC, CI/CD, pair programming).
• Data modeling, data engineering, and database management experience (e.g., SQL, Python).
• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• FinOps Foundation certification (FinOps Certified Practitioner or FinOps Certified Engineer), or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• ITFM Showback or Chargeback experience and integration with Cloud Cost sources (e.g. Azure Cloud and Usage Reporting).
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills, including executive-ready materials in PowerPoint and Word and interactive web-based reports (e.g., standalone HTML).
Desired:
• Program / Project Management experience - You will help lead a diverse team to achieve the success of the FinOps program using product oriented methodologies.
• Hands on experience of modern Cloud Analytics tools (e.g. IBM Apptio Cloudability, etc.)
• Practical experience driving FinOps optimization actions with customers (e.g., rightsizing, waste removal, commitment-based discounts such as Reserved Instances and Savings Plans).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, API integration, and Data Visualization related to Cloud cost, tagging, and showback / chargeback.
• Service mapping experience with hybrid tools (e.g., ServiceNow APM).
• Experience implementing architectural governance and proactively managing issues and risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Experience supporting public-sector or multi-tenant shared services programs.
