Job Title: Azure Active Directory Engineer (AD Engineer – Hands-on, Ops Focused)

Job Description:

Own day-to-day Active Directory operations: user/group management, OU administration, GPO changes, permissions, and access requests.
Handle AD incident management and troubleshooting: authentication issues, replication/DNS-related AD errors, login failures, account lockouts, and GPO application problems.
Lead joiner/mover/leaver (JML) processes and ensure clean provisioning/deprovisioning, access governance, and audit-ready documentation.
Perform AD health monitoring: replication checks, SYSVOL, domain controller status, time sync, AD backups/restore support, and routine maintenance.
Drive security hardening and operational controls: least privilege, tiered admin model basics, privileged group reviews, and policy compliance.
Manage change requests with clear impact analysis, rollout/backout plans, and coordination with IAM/Security teams (not network/infra owned).
Create and maintain SOPs/runbooks, mentor junior AD admins, and ensure SLAs for AD service availability.
Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server AD DS, GPO, LDAP concepts, and PowerShell scripting for AD automation and reporting.
