About the Role:

As a Systems Engineer V, you will play a critical leadership role in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex systems that support the organization's strategic objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing the integration of hardware and software components to ensure seamless operation and high reliability across multiple platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of system architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to deliver scalable and secure solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, network engineers, and project managers to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Ultimately, your expertise will ensure that the systems infrastructure meets current and future business needs while maintaining compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in systems engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Proven expertise in system design, integration, and troubleshooting within complex IT environments.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, or UNIX.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and/or necessary computer programs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years experiences or Master's in a relevant technical field.
  • Background in network engineering or cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced system architectures to support enterprise-level applications and services.
  • Lead system integration efforts, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance across diverse hardware and software environments.
  • Conduct thorough system analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements, develop technical specifications, and establish project timelines.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure systems comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning to maintain system resilience.

In this role, your technical skills will be essential for designing and implementing robust system architectures that meet business requirements. Your proficiency with operating systems and virtualization platforms will enable you to optimize system performance and scalability. Troubleshooting and analytical skills will be applied daily to diagnose and resolve complex system issues efficiently. Collaboration and communication skills are vital as you work with diverse teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals. Additionally, your knowledge of automation and cloud technologies will support continuous integration and deployment processes, enhancing overall system reliability and agility.
