Note: Prior experience in android device testing is mandatory

Technical Skills & Requirements

Core Android Tools: Mastery of ADB, Fastboot, and the Android Shell for device manipulation and data extraction.
Logging & Tracing: Advanced proficiency in interpreting Logcat, Dmesg, and Systrace/Perfetto to identify latency and scheduling issues.
Flashing & Recovery: Experience with partition management, bootloader unlocking, and flashing individual images (boot, system, vendor, radio).
Workload Testing: Familiarity with standard benchmarking suites (e.g., Geekbench, GFXBench, Antutu) as well as custom scripts for specific SoC subsystem testing.
Kernel Knowledge: Understanding of the Linux kernel, specifically regarding CPU frequency scaling and thermal governors.
