Position Overview:The Stationary Engineer shall, under the direction of the Chief Engineer, or the Assistant Chief Engineer, shall provide maintenance and repair of all hospital equipment; operate plant and auxiliary equipment; repair plant operation equipment; uses electric and gas welding tools and systems; operates machine shop equipment; installs new equipment and repairs existing equipment; performs repairs and maintenance on refrigeration equipment, compressors, pumps and HX units; and operates pick-up truck for transporting equipment and supplies to campuses.
Job Description:
- Maintenance of all hospital equipment.
- Operation of plant and auxiliary equipment.
- Repair of plant operation equipment.
- Use of welding tools, electrical or gas.
- Use of machine shop equipment.
- Installation of new equipment and repair of existing equipment.
- Repair and maintenance of refrigeration equipment.
- Repair and maintenance of compressors, pumps, and HX units.
EDUCATION- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE- EPA CFC Universal Certification
- DL-Valid Drivers License Class C
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:- Actual job experience in journeyman standing.

Pay Range is $73.25 to $73.25 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
