Location: San Ramon, CA Onsite

Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Full Stack/Backend Engineer with a strong background in E-commerce/Retail. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing scalable applications using TypeScript, Node.js, AWS Lambda, and GraphQL, along with strong technical leadership and architecture skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of scalable full-stack and backend applications.
Develop robust services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.
Build and maintain serverless solutions using AWS Lambda.
Develop and integrate GraphQL APIs, including Shopify GraphQL APIs.
Design and implement Shopify applications, integrations, and customizations.
Work on e-commerce/retail platforms, integrations, order management, inventory, and related business processes.
Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and code reviews.
Collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Required Skills:

TypeScript Primary development language
Node.js / NodeJS Backend/service development
AWS Lambda / Serverless Architecture
Shopify / Shopify Plus Platform, APIs, integrations, and custom development
GraphQL API development and Shopify GraphQL APIs
E-commerce / Retail domain experience
Strong experience in software architecture and technical leadership

Preferred Candidate Profile:

14+ years of overall software engineering experience.
Strong experience leading full-stack/backend engineering initiatives.
Proven experience working with Shopify and e-commerce/retail platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud-native and serverless application architecture.
Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
Must be available to work onsite in San Ramon, CA.
