Summary

Job Purpose:

The Department releases this RFQ to procure staff augmentation services using the above-referenced STC.

The Department may select one (1) or more ERP Support Resource(s) from one (1) or more qualified

Respondent(s) for the (ERP Support Resource(s)) position based on the Response(s) determined by the

Department to provide the best value.

 

About the Candidate:

Qualifications

Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technologies,

Business Management, Accounting, or related field.


Required Experience

This position requires the following experience and/or knowledge:   

1.      Minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing activities directly related to ERP.

2.      Strong communication (verbal and written) skills and experience communicating with multiple

levels, from leadership (e.g., CIO), to technical and functional staff.

3.      Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Visio.

4.      Experience using Smartsheet or other similar collaboration tools.

5.      Experience implementing PeopleSoft or Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (or legacy

versions of this solution).

 

Preferred Experience

 

1.      Experience working with the State or with other state governments similar in size in terms of

annual budget and full-time equivalent (FTE) employee count.

      2.  Experience implementing

               i. Data warehouse/business intelligence solutions.

               ii. Financials and Payroll implementations

               iii. Data cleansing and conversion

               iv. Data integration

               v. System, integration and end-user testing

               vi. Cutover planning and execution.

       3.  Knowledge of PeopleTools 8.59+ and fluid page development.

 

Primary Job, Duties and Tasks

1.      Completing custom programming, configuration, event mapping, and other technical assignments

as directed.

      2.  Following Project standards for all assignments.

      3.  Use and share lessons learned and best practices associated with the area of ERP that may promote

efficiency and help to identify and mitigate potential risks.

      4. Serve as an ERP and/or PeopleSoft subject matter expert, which includes:

            a. Providing Solution recommendations;

      5.  Evaluating designs and configurations for alternatives for the Financials and Payroll Major

Implementation.

       6. Complete knowledge transfer/training activities to identified parties, as directed.

       7. Perform other duties as assigned.

       8. Complete transition services, including participating in lessons-learned meetings; creating lessonslearned;

and providing all documents, software, software licenses, and other Project artifacts to the

Project team as it relates to the work performed under the PO.

       9. Assist the Project team to trouble shoot and resolve issues in the production system as requested.

       10. Serve as part of the Project’s Hyper-Care team assisting to expedite quick resolution of issues and

stabilization of the system.

       11. Serve as part of the emergency back-up technical team to keep the production system stabilized in

case the SSI vendor’s contract is terminated or expires (emergency back-up activation event) prior

to execution of a new contract.
