Summary
Job Title: Senior Functional Consultant:
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term on W2
Exp. Level: 7+ years overall experience, with at least 4+ years in D365 CE / Power Platform functional delivery.
Bill Rate: $45-$50/hr on W2
Role Summary:
Senior functional lead responsible for translating business requirements into D365 CE and Power Platform solution designs. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and technical teams to define processes, user stories, functional designs, and acceptance criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead functional discovery workshops; document business processes, gaps, and future-state design; configure D365 CE entities, forms, views, business rules, dashboards, queues, SLAs, and workflows; define Power Apps functional requirements; create user stories and functional design documents; support backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, UAT, and go-live readiness; validate delivered solution against business requirements; coordinate with technical and data migration teams.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong D365 CE functional experience; Power Apps model-driven app understanding; Dataverse concepts; business process flows; workflows / Power Automate understanding; requirements gathering; user story creation; UAT support; stakeholder communication; Agile delivery experience.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills: Public sector, health, human services, licensing, case management, claims, or citizen/customer service experience; knowledge of security roles, teams, queues, SLA configuration; experience with portals / Power Pages; experience working with offshore teams.
