responsibilities:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL developer supporting production systems
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- Direct experience in Capital Markets, preferably Prime Services and/or Securities Lending
- Strong command of financial data models, workflows, and industry terminology
- Advanced Oracle RDBMS expertise, including: Complex SQL queryingStored procedures, functions, triggers, and viewsObject and user privilege management
- Demonstrated ownership of performance tuning for complex SQL and PL/SQL workloads
- Proven experience designing and supporting high-volume ETL processes (e.g., SQL*Loader or equivalent)
- Strong experience with database modeling and schema design
qualifications:
Clear, direct communication skills with both engineers and business stakeholders
Working knowledge of Core Java and/or Python
Experience with enterprise job schedulers (e.g., Control-M)
AWS cloud exposure, particularly supporting database or data-platform workloads
Demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in complex, data-intensive domains
