Position Overview
We are seeking a CCNA Certified Network Engineer with strong expertise in Network Topology, Enterprise Network Infrastructure, and Data Center environments. This role focuses on network design, architecture, scalability, redundancy, and structural performance, rather than day-to-day helpdesk support.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing physical and logical network topologies, working with offshore teams, and supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure across campus, data center, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and optimize complex network topologies, including Star, Mesh, Hybrid, and Leaf-Spine architectures across enterprise, campus, data center, and cloud environments.
- Architect and maintain both physical and logical network layouts to support scalability, high availability, and performance.
- Design efficient data paths, redundancy models, and failover strategies for enterprise networks.
- Configure and optimize routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Design network segmentation using VLANs, DMZs, firewalls, and security boundaries to strengthen enterprise security.
- Develop and maintain network topology diagrams, physical and logical network maps, topology heatmaps, and deployment documentation.
- Perform capacity planning, performance analysis, and infrastructure scalability assessments.
- Support enterprise network growth by designing resilient infrastructure for new branches and cloud connectivity.
- Serve as the L3 escalation point during critical network outages involving complex topology or infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate effectively with offshore teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, and cross-functional engineering groups.
Required Qualifications
- CCNA Certification is Mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience with Enterprise Network Infrastructure.
- Strong experience working in Data Center environments.
- Experience collaborating with Offshore Teams.
- Strong understanding of Physical vs. Logical Network Topologies.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco ISE, Arista, or Juniper networking platforms.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.
- Experience designing VLANs, DMZs, Firewalls, and Network Segmentation.
- Hands-on experience creating network diagrams using Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or NetBrain.
- Familiarity with Python, Ansible, or NetDevOps for network automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Ability to support enterprise-scale network design and architecture initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing Leaf-Spine Data Center Architectures.
- Experience with Cloud Networking.
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience for network automation.
- Experience supporting large enterprise or multi-site environments.
- Vendor-neutral infrastructure design experience.
