Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced VP, Quality Control and Validation to oversee the global test and validation strategy for all motherboard and server hardware products.

In this senior role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive validation framework that combines advanced simulation-driven verification with rigorous real-world testing. You will establish best-in-class methodologies, ensure seamless alignment between validation processes and product development cycles, and collaborate closely with Product Management, R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

As the departmental leader and gatekeeper for product quality, you will define clear internal and external responsibilities and lead the team to prevent field quality issues, ensuring high reliability and excellence in all hardware deliverables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive test and validation strategy for all hardware products
  • Establish best-in-class validation methodologies, integrating simulation-driven verification and real-world testing
  • Partner with Product Management, R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing Teams to align validation processes with product development cycles
  • Define departmental responsibilities with respect to internal & external boundaries
  • Lead the team and serve as the gatekeeper to avoid any field quality issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or with equivalent experiences; Master's degree is highly desirable
  • Minimum of 17 years of motherboard, server R&D and quality control experiences, with 5 years in management highly preferred
  • Strong organizational, planning, and presentational skills
  • Solid interpersonal (written and verbal communication) and project management skills, able to influence and lead dynamic groups in corporate environment efficiently
  • In-depth knowledge of motherboard and server industry and its application
  • Prior experience in hardware design is a plus

Salary Range

$300,000 - $365,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
