Job description:

Role Summary

We are looking for an on-site professional who is Responsible for end-to-end GoldenGate administration, replication, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning across multisystem data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage GoldenGate replication processes, Extract Pump Replicat across environments.
• Monitor replication lag, trail files, disk usage, and pipeline health
• Handle GoldenGate incidents, including ABEND trail corruption and checkpoint issues
• Perform restart recovery and failover procedures
• Conduct pipeline validation and data reconciliation across hops
• Manage DDL replication and onboarding of new tables
• Perform GoldenGate performance tuning, parallelism, batching, and checkpoint tuning
• Support change and release management for replication pipelines
• Coordinate with DB network and application teams for issue resolution
• Maintain runbooks for recurring failure scenarios

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate Classic Microservices
• Hands-on experience in

1. Extract Pump Replicat configuration
2. Lag management and troubleshooting
3. ABEND analysis and recovery

• Experience in multihop replication architectures
• Knowledge of Oracle DB internals is required for coordination
• Understanding of heterogeneous replication environments

Preferred Skillset

• Experience in

1. Oracle Alloy DB replication
2. Downstream integrations Snowflake
3. Exposure to large environments, 150 job pipelines
4. Shell scripting automation
5. Monitoring tools and customising

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle GoldenGate replication across homogeneous and heterogeneous environments (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake, Kafka).
• Expertise in Oracle GoldenGate 19c/23ai, including Classic and Microservices Architecture (MA) installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience implementing and supporting unidirectional, bidirectional, active-active, DR, and high-availability replication solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Extract, Pump, Replicat, Trail Files, Integrated/Parallel Replicat, replication monitoring, performance tuning, and lag management.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting Extract/Replicat abends, replication lag, collision handling, data consistency issues, DEFGEN, and large-volume initial loads/migrations.
• Experience securing and managing GoldenGate environments, including encryption, authentication, credential management, monitoring, and multi-cloud deployments (OCI, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, On-Premises).
