The organization seeks a Sr. Software Developer II to deliver secure and reliable software for mission-critical federal systems. The role focuses on building and modernizing enterprise applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and modern front-end frameworks while adhering to strict security and operational standards. The developer will troubleshoot production issues, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and communicate decisions to stakeholders to maintain customer trust. This position requires an active Top Secret clearance with current or prior SCI access.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Salary: $170,000 - $220,000/ yr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate within a high-performing team to deliver technical solutions for mission-critical federal systems.
  • Support O&M and design, develop, and modernize custom enterprise applications.
  • Apply secure coding practices across all phases of development.
  • Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Support and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Communicate technical decisions and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain customer trust through technical expertise and professionalism.
  • Use creativity and innovation to deliver solutions that meet customer and mission needs.

Experience Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret clearance with current or previously held SCI access.
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience building, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications in mission-critical environments.
  • Expertise in C#, .NET, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, and ASP.NET including WebForms, MVC, and REST APIs.
  • Front-end experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and Angular and/or React.
  • Back-end experience with database development and administration including SQL Server and T-SQL.
  • Experience with source code management tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Docker.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server, PowerShell scripting, IIS hosting, Kerberos, and OIDC authentication.
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
  • Certification meeting DoD 8140 such as Security+.
  • Azure Developer Associate certification or AWS Developer Associate certification, or recent and relevant software development certification.
