Job Description:
Our client seeking an experienced, enterprise-grade Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Adobe Experience Cloud Developer & Architect to lead digital marketing and customer engagement technology transformations for our premier banking and financial services client.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Solution Architecture: Lead the end-to-end architecture design and deployment of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and/or Adobe Experience Cloud (AEC) ecosystems, tailoring solutions to complex banking and financial data regulations.
- Technical Leadership & Strategy: Translate business and marketing objectives from client takeholders into robust, scalable, and secure technical roadmaps.
- Campaign & Journey Automation: Oversee the development of complex multi-step customer journeys using SFMC Journey Builder or Adobe Campaign/Journey Optimizer, ensuring seamless cross-channel communications (Email, SMS, Push, Web).
- Data Governance & Integration: Manage data architecture, including Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and integrations with core CRM systems (Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud) and enterprise data warehouses via secure APIs.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to strict banking security standards, data privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR), and platform governance protocols.
- Development & Code Quality: Guide a high-performing development team, setting code review standards for advanced scripting (AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript [SSJS], or Adobe Experience Platform SDKs), queries (SQL), and customized templates.
- Agile Delivery: Partner closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and client engineering teams in an Agile development environment to deliver incremental value.
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Experience: 8+ years of total IT experience, with a minimum of 5+ years specializing in either Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or Adobe Experience Cloud (AEC) implementations within enterprise environments (banking/financial services preferred).
- Core Marketing Cloud / Experience Cloud Mastery:
- For Salesforce Track: Expert-level proficiency in SFMC modules (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Audience Builder, Interaction Studio/Data Cloud) and advanced AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL.
- For Adobe Track: Strong hands-on architectural experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Campaign, Adobe Target, or Adobe Analytics.
- Integration & APIs: Proven track record of integrating marketing tech stacks with CRM systems, data lakes, and third-party web services via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Security & Compliance: Deep understanding of enterprise security protocols, data encryption, permissioning models, and compliance standards specific to the financial sector.
