Summary

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to support data platform initiatives. This role focuses on building scalable test automation frameworks and ensuring the quality of complex data pipelines and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop a Python-based automation framework for data validation
Perform ETL and data pipeline testing across multiple data sources
Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and analysis
Develop automated test scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and output validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Analyze defects, identify root causes, and support resolution

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in QA/SDET roles
Strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, and ETL testing
Experience with data validation and large datasets
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Java and Selenium
Exposure to AWS / Snowflake
Knowledge of data quality and governance tools

Additional Details:

Hybrid role – 3 days onsite required
Final round will be in-person (Dallas or Tampa)
