You'll be responsible for supporting installs, troubleshooting and maintaining servers, while playing a vital role in keeping critical operations running smoothly and seamlessly. Data Center Technician L1
This is an entry-level role that supports data center operations in a large-scale AI and accelerated computing environment. You'll help with equipment installs, inventory, cabling, audits, and basic operational tasks under the guidance of senior team members.

What You'll Do:

• Receive, unpack, inspect, and stage equipment
• Help rack and place hardware based on deployment plans
• Assist with server, storage, accelerator, and network installs
• Route, dress, and label cables
• Check equipment placement against rack plans
• Scan assets and help reconcile inventory
• Track serialized equipment, spare parts, and inventory moves
• Support inbound and outbound asset tracking
• Help with daily inventory counts and audits
• Follow chain-of-custody procedures
• Perform routine tasks using documented work instructions
• Complete facility walkthroughs and visual checks
• Support maintenance work as directed
• Assist with equipment moves, adds, changes, and decommissioning
• Escalate issues or discrepancies when needed
• Update documentation, inventory records, and tracking systems
• Support as-built records and verification activities
• Help with quality checks and deployment validation
• Follow labeling, documentation, and reporting standards
• Follow safety, security, and access control rules
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Support EHS practices and reporting
• Work with senior technicians, network teams, facilities, and site leadership
• Participate in shift handoffs and operational updates
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and contractors

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 months of experience in data center, IT support, logistics, warehouse, or similar work
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and common tech components
• Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Basic Microsoft Office and web app skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a data center, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or technical support role
• Familiarity with servers, networking gear, or structured cabling
• Experience with barcode scanners, inventory systems, or asset tools
• Knowledge of ESD handling
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Experience in fast-paced operational environments

Data Center Technician L2
This role supports the setup, maintenance, and repair of data center hardware in both production and non-production environments. The work includes servers, storage, networking, and accelerator platforms used in AI and high-performance computing.

What You'll Do:

• Install, rack, cable, and deploy servers, storage, and network gear
• Follow floor plans, rack layouts, and deployment standards
• Install and test copper and fiber cabling
• Check equipment after installs and help with acceptance testing
• Diagnose hardware issues and replace failed parts
• Perform FRU swaps on servers, network devices, and accelerators
• Support RMA processing and return-to-service testing
• Track inventory, spare parts, and customer assets
• Complete inventory counts and reconcile records
• Handle smart hands tasks like reseats, cable tracing, swaps, and inspections
• Support equipment moves, adds, changes, and decommissioning
• Help with OOB and console infrastructure tasks
• Update tickets, inventory systems, and work records
• Verify labeling, documentation, and quality standards
• Follow site security, safety, and EHS procedures
• Work with technicians, facilities, security, and site leadership
• Support onboarding, training, and continuous improvement efforts

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of data center, hardware, or infrastructure support experience
• Experience with servers, storage, and networking hardware
• Ability to follow detailed procedures with little supervision
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ticketing, inventory, and documentation systems

Nice to Have:

• Experience in hyperscale, cloud, AI, HPC, or enterprise data centers
• Familiarity with GPUs, accelerators, or high-density compute
• Experience with hardware diagnostics and part replacement
• Knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optics
• Experience with asset tracking and inventory control
• Familiarity with 24x7 operations
• Basic networking, OOB, and console knowledge
• Data center or vendor certifications

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk for long periods
• Lift, carry, push, or move up to 50 pounds
• Work in racks and tight spaces
• Climb ladders and perform hands-on deployment work
• Work in hot aisle, cold aisle, and changing conditions

Work Environment:

• Mission-critical data center setting
• Supports advanced AI and accelerated computing systems
• Work includes deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and inventory support
