ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Security Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead risk-driven infrastructure and cybersecurity remediation initiatives across the enterprise. This role is responsible for driving delivery across remediation programs focused on cyber hygiene, security risk reduction, and Azure cloud infrastructure.
You will partner closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, engineering, and business stakeholders to plan, execute, and track remediation efforts from start to finish. The role combines strong project management discipline with hands-on Agile and Scrum leadership, while leveraging enterprise AI tools to improve reporting, documentation, analysis, and overall team efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and security remediation projects focused on risk reduction and cyber hygiene
• Serve as Scrum Master for Azure cloud and infrastructure teams, facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Manage multiple concurrent remediation initiatives, tracking scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and outcomes
• Coordinate remediation activities tied to vulnerabilities, audit findings, compliance gaps, and infrastructure control improvements
• Partner with cybersecurity, cloud, platform, server, network, IAM, and operations teams to prioritize and execute remediation work
• Translate technical initiatives into clear project plans, RAID logs, dashboards, and executive-ready status communications
• Drive accountability across cross-functional teams for delivery milestones and risk mitigation actions
• Maintain project artifacts including roadmaps, schedules, sprint boards, decision logs, and stakeholder communications
• Support Azure infrastructure initiatives including cloud modernization, configuration hardening, governance, and remediation tracking
• Use metrics and reporting to monitor team velocity, aging risks, remediation progress, and overall project health
• Identify risks, constraints, and dependencies early and escalate effectively when required
• Promote Agile best practices while balancing governance needs within infrastructure and security programs
• Leverage enterprise AI tools such as ChatGPT to accelerate meeting summaries, documentation, analysis, and reporting while adhering to security and data governance policies
KEY REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, technical program management, or Scrum Master roles
• 3+ years of experience supporting infrastructure, cloud, or cybersecurity initiatives
• Proven experience managing security remediation or risk?driven infrastructure programs
• Hands?on experience serving as Scrum Master for technical teams in cloud or infrastructure environments
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure and enterprise domains including servers, networks, IAM, patching, and vulnerability remediation
• Solid understanding of cyber hygiene concepts such as vulnerability management, configuration compliance, identity security, and remediation tracking
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Proficiency using enterprise AI tools for business productivity, documentation, and analysis
• Strong communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with an average of three days per week onsite in the Dunwoody Atlanta area
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• PMP, CSM, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI?ACP, or similar certification
• Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity, IT risk, or cloud transformation programs
• Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, or general IT risk and compliance practices
• Experience supporting audit, regulatory, or control remediation initiatives
• Knowledge of secure and responsible use of AI tools within enterprise environments
