Role Summary
We are seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, operation, and optimization of a cloud environment powering critical enterprise systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring availability, performance, and scalability across cloud-hosted applications, data platforms, and AI workloads.
You will manage core Azure services, implement modern infrastructure practices, and partner closely with security, platform, and engineering teams to deliver a stable and secure environment. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with a strong understanding of cloud operations and best practices.
In this position, you’ll deploy and maintain Azure resources, implement infrastructure-as-code, monitor system health, and troubleshoot issues across compute, networking, storage, and identity components. You will also help ensure that cloud environments meet enterprise security and compliance standards while driving improvements in efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.
- Manage Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, and private endpoints.
- Provision and support compute resources such as VMs, App Services, and container platforms.
- Configure and maintain Azure storage, resource groups, and related services.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Configure monitoring and alerting via Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Integrate and manage identity and access solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and conduct root cause analysis to improve stability.
- Support system scaling, reliability planning, and cloud cost optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure cloud environments meet enterprise security requirements.
Key Requirements
- Hands-on experience managing large-scale Microsoft Azure infrastructure environments.
- Strong expertise in Azure networking, compute services, and storage configurations.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- Experience using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related observability tools.
- Working knowledge of identity and access management using Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and experience supporting production environments.
- Familiarity with container platforms or Azure Kubernetes Service (preferred).
- Understanding of data platform or AI workload support within Azure (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement.
