Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud solutions on OCI. This role will drive cloud strategy, architecture governance, and best practices while ensuring secure, high-performing, and cost-efficient OCI environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, security, networking, and Oracle-native services, and the ability to translate business requirements into enterprise-grade cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design and architect secure, scalable, and highly available solutions on OCI
Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-prem or other cloud platforms to OCI
Define OCI architecture standards, governance, and best practices
Implement OCI networking: VCNs, subnets, load balancers, VPN, FastConnect
Architect and manage compute, storage, and database services (Autonomous DB, Exadata Cloud)
Develop disaster recovery and high availability strategies
Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Ensure security and compliance using OCI-native services (IAM, Vault, Security Zones)
Optimize cloud cost, performance, and resource utilization
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
Act as a trusted advisor to technical and business stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in cloud architecture / infrastructure engineering
3+ years of hands-on OCI experience
Strong expertise in:
Cloud networking and security
OCI compute, storage, and database services
Hybrid and multi-cloud architectures
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks

Preferred Qualifications
OCI certifications (Architect Associate/Professional)
Experience working in large enterprise cloud environments
Experience with DevOps and automation practices
