Job SummaryJob DescriptionJob SummaryThe Network Security Team Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day network security operations with a strong focus on operational execution, service reliability, and continuous improvement. This role ensures consistent delivery against defined service levels, standard operating procedures, and audit expectations while maintaining high quality in incident and request resolution. The role requires a blend of technical depth, operational leadership, and the ability to perform structured root cause analysis during high-impact situations while communicating effectively across technical, business, and leadership audiences.
Responsibilities- Lead daily network security operations, ensuring adherence to service levels, operational procedures, and audit requirements.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of ticket resolution across network security operations.
- Maintain and continuously improve operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities.
- Support and participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation.
- Monitor key operational metrics and provide reporting to leadership.
- Partner with IT, Security, and business stakeholders to improve service delivery.
- Coach and mentor team members to support operational excellence.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex, high?impact incidents and operational issues raised by team members
Education- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience- 7+ years of progressive experience in network security or security operations, including enterprise environments and on-call support.
Skills - Strong hands-on experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools.
- Experience operating within structured incidents, problems, and change management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to calmly analyze and resolve complex operational issues under pressure.
- Experience supporting audits and understanding security control execution and evidence requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$116,000.00 - $174,000.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
