Summary
About the Role We are seeking a high-velocity Director of Sales to lead our US Capital Markets expansion. This is a pure hunter role. You will be responsible for penetrating middle-market investment banks and private equity firms, positioning SG Analytics as a strategic partner for data-centric research and analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
New Logo Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and close new business within investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and PE firms.
C-Suite Engagement: Build and present compelling business cases and value propositions to executive leadership (C-level).
Full Sales Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end sales process: lead generation, qualification, deal nurturing, and final closure.
Solution Engineering: Collaborate with internal delivery and technical teams to craft tailored proofs of concept (PoC) for complex financial business problems.
Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of legal and commercial terms while ensuring deals meet company margin targets.
Strategic Growth: Partner with the Head of Capital Markets to execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies in the US region.
Qualifications
Experience: 10–15 years of proven sales success in the Capital Markets or Financial Services sector.
Track Record: Demonstrated ability to independently run high-quality sales cycles and close deals with middle-market institutional firms.
Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of current trends in Investment Banking, Asset Management, and Private Equity.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business is highly preferred.
Availability: Must be willing to travel as required to meet clients and close deals.
