Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Machine Assemblers in Rincon, GA! This position is responsible for assembling and servicing heavy equipment including excavators, wheel loaders, skid steers, and other construction machinery. Candidates must be mechanically inclined, safety focused, and comfortable working with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems in a fast-paced shop environment.
Pay: $22/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM
Responsibilities:
Assemble heavy equipment components including hydraulic hoses, axles, brake systems, AC systems, cabins, and other mechanical parts
Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely and effectively
Perform mechanical assembly, adjustments, troubleshooting, and inspections on construction equipment
Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and specifications accurately
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues during assembly
Work on equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, and similar machinery
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following company safety procedures
Assist with final checks and quality inspections before equipment completion
Collaborate with team members and support production goals
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude required
Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems preferred
Previous heavy equipment, industrial assembly, automotive, diesel, or equipment mechanic experience strongly preferred
Recent forklift experience required
Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues independently
Comfortable working around large equipment and in confined spaces when necessary
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
Must be able to climb on and around heavy equipment safely
Valid driver's license required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
