Job Title: ESM Senior Developer ServiceNow SAM Pro

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to build and customize SAM Pro solutions. You will work closely with architects and ITAM experts to deliver integrations, workflows, discovery, normalization, and reconciliation logic.
What You ll Do
- Configure and customize ServiceNow SAM Pro features including SW models and lifecycle rules, normalization and SW discovery maps relationship logics, reconciliation and compliance calculation, APIs configuration with SaaS providers and external applications.
- Develop workflows, flow designer flows, business rules, scripts including UI policies, client scripts and automated jobs supporting SAM processes.
- Build and maintain integration patterns using integrationHUb, REST/SOAP APIs, file transfer, MID Server configuration.
- Map and transform entitlements, contract data, SW installation data and usage data into required respective SAM Pro tables.
- Ensure alignment with CMDB classes and data structure, relationships, and discovery.
- Work closely with SAM architect to convert solution design into technical specifications for performing development activities.
- Partner with Project Manager to refine timelines, report progress, and highlight technical risks.
- Work with respective teams to provision MIS Servers.
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions and provide a technical feasibility perspective.
- Support SIT/UAT cycles by validating SAM configuration, reconciliation rules, and custom development.
- Provide test data, fix defects and ensure all development is upgrade safe.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, data flows and integration diagrams, configuration records and any code related documentation.
- Perform knowledge transfer sessions as part of handover to SAM ops.
What We re Looking For
- 5 to 7+ years of work experience within ITAM and SAM Pro.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow designer, business rules, client scripts and integration configurations.
- Hands-on experience with SAM Pro development components and license models configuration
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer CAD
- Expertise in configuring MID Servers, software workspace, and integration with various discovery sources.
Nice to have: Understanding on SW licensing basics (SaaS and On Prem) and ITIL Foundation Certification
