Summary

Senior DevOps Engineer

The Opportunity Join a global, market-leading technology company as a Senior DevOps Engineer in a hybrid full-time role - 2 days onsite and 3 days remote each week. You'll be at the forefront of managing and enhancing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, directly impacting the performance and reliability of enterprise-scale applications. The role works closely with DevOps team members across multiple global locations as part of a follow-the-sun support escalation model, ensuring continuous infrastructure coverage and rapid issue resolution. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with R&D teams including developers, architects, and product managers to drive continuous delivery of new features and updates.

Why This Role Stands Out This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior DevOps professional to take true ownership of cloud infrastructure and pipeline development at a global scale. You won't be maintaining the status quo - you'll be championing Infrastructure as Code practices using CloudFormation, Terraform, and CDK, and continuously evolving CI/CD pipelines built on Jenkins and GitHub Actions. The containerization scope is substantial, overseeing deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications across EKS and ECS with a focus on fault tolerance and optimal performance. The monitoring and logging responsibility is equally broad, designing and implementing solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack to ensure proactive visibility into system health. The follow-the-sun model gives you genuine global collaboration experience, working alongside talented engineers across locations and time zones. The hybrid schedule - 3 days remote and 2 days focused on in-person collaboration - is thoughtfully structured to balance focus time with high-energy, face-to-face innovation. For a DevOps engineer who wants scale, variety, and the ability to make a measurable impact, this role delivers.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or a related field with a proven track record managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines at scale
  • In-depth experience with AWS services including strong understanding of cloud security, cost management, and best practices
  • Strong experience with CloudFormation and Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure
  • Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms including EKS and ECS
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions including pipeline design, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Advanced proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Groovy, Shell, and JavaScript with a focus on automation and infrastructure management
  • Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and produce clear technical documentation

Desired Skills & Experience
  • AWS CDK experience
