Job Role: QuickBase & Power BI Engineer

Location: Plano, TX - Hybrid

Job Description:

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience developing QuickBase applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience creating Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with data modeling, report performance optimization, and visual best practices in Power BI.
  • Proficiency with SQL and/or working with structured datasets.
  • Ability to gather requirements and work directly with business stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Technical Skills:

  • Power BI: Advanced skills in data visualization, DAX functions, and connecting data sources.
  • QuickBase/Adobe Workfront: Expertise in configuring process workflows, automating tasks, and customizing tool functionalities.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance QuickBase applications, including tables, relationships, forms, reports, dashboards, and user roles.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that are visually appealing, insightful, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with business users, BAs, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Integrate QuickBase with other systems and data sources (APIs, Excel, databases, etc.).
  • Create data models and semantic layers to support efficient reporting and analytics in Power BI.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and best practices across applications and reports.
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and enhancements as needed.
  • Create technical documentation and user guides as required.
