Operations Analyst

Join a dynamic team as an Operations Analyst, where you'll play a key role in managing treasury operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions and prepare internal and regulatory reports related to the investment portfolio and collateral management.
• Maintain accurate records of treasury-related transactions to support multiple lines of business.
• Manage fixed income securities, settle trades, and oversee principal and interest payments.
• Conduct reconciliations between systems and general ledgers and contribute to SOX compliance.
• Collaborate independently with technology teams to implement system enhancements.
• Participate actively in departmental projects and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Skills

• Proficiency in trade and wire systems, including Lightning and Collateral Matrix Database.
• At least three years of experience in financial operations, with expertise in fixed income securities.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Vlookups, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communicator, able to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience in an operations environment.
• Experience with the Lightning database system and CMS database.
• Familiarity with free security movements using FED and BONY Mellon systems.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and develop in-depth knowledge across various functions.
