Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with 12+ years of IT experience in designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, security, and cloud migration.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong cloud engineering experience.

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

• Expertise in cloud infrastructure design, deployment, administration, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep templates.

• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

• Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Experience with networking concepts, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, load balancers, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.

• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and compliance.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.

• Experience in cloud migration, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.

2. Manage cloud resources, networking, storage, compute, and access controls.

3. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or equivalent tools.

4. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

5. Implement cloud security policies, monitoring, logging, and alerting.

6. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues.

7. Optimize cloud performance, reliability, and operational costs.

8. Collaborate with DevOps, development, security, and architecture teams.

9. Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

10. Mentor junior engineers and establish cloud engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and serverless architecture.

• Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.

• Experience with enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and governance.
