Job Description: Pigment Administrator
Experience: 5+years
Location: Remote
Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months, with possible extension
What’s in it for You?
We are looking for a Pigment Administrator / Technical Consultant to support the ongoing
configuration, administration, and optimization of our Pigment planning environment. This
role is hands-on and technical, focused on maintaining model performance, supporting
business users, and ensuring Pigment is set up in a scalable, well-governed way.
You will partner closely with FP&A team to translate planning needs into well-structured
Pigment models and processes.
What Will You Be Doing?
• Administer and maintain Pigment models, dimensions, metrics, and formulas
• Manage model structure, hierarchies, time dimensions, and scenario planning
• Configure user access, permissions, and security best practices
• Build and optimize calculations, rules, and automations within Pigment
• Monitor and improve model performance and data integrity
• Support data integrations (e.g., data imports, exports, APIs, or connectors)
• Troubleshoot issues related to calculations, data loads, and user workflows
• Document model logic, data flows, and admin processes
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for Pigment-related questions
• Partner with Finance / Planning teams to implement new use cases and
enhancements
What Makes You the Perfect Fit?
• Hands-on experience administering Pigment
• Strong understanding of multidimensional modeling concepts (dimensions,
hierarchies, metrics, time)
• Experience with data integrations, ETL concepts, and structured datasets
• Comfortable working with complex formulas and business logic
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a contractor environment
Nice to Have
• Prior experience supporting Finance, FP&A, or business planning teams
• Experience with Pigment APIs or advanced integrations
• Background in systems administration or analytics engineering
• Experience documenting and operationalizing planning systems
