Sr. Full Stack Engineer (50/50, Angular, Java, AWS, Testing)- Local to NC (W2)

Job Title: Sr. Full Stack Engineer (50/50, Angular, Java, AWS, Testing) Location: Durham, NC. Local candidates only. Duration: 12 months+ Schedule: Hybrid onsite every other week (5 days per week). Employment Type: W2 Exp: 8+ Years Onboarding: Background check, credit check, drug screening, and fingerprinting. Interview Process: 2 rounds. 1st, 1hr and 15 mins onsite (Whiteboard will be leveraged for pseudocode. Questions will be application based - 1st round onsite will be technical round.) 2nd, 30 mins virtual if needed. NOTE: Vendor will administer a pre-interview technical assessment before submitting the candidate to the client.

The Role
This Senior Full Stack Engineer role requires 4 9 years of experience and is a true 50/50 front-end and back-end position. Candidates need strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript on the UI and Java and Spring Boot on the server side, along with AWS cloud development. Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and end-to-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright is also important.

The team builds Developer Assist tooling that uses AI to help engineering teams improve productivity and efficiency. Candidates should have practical experience using AI-assisted development tools and be able to explain how they currently incorporate AI into their engineering workflow, including prompt engineering, effective use cases, and best practices. The ideal candidate combines balanced full stack development skills with cloud, DevOps, testing, and hands-on AI-assisted software development experience.
