Senior Business Analyst / Data Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Business Analyst/Data Developer in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Plan, develop, and document functional, technical, and business requirements for projects of varying complexity
* Create clear business and technical documentation to support development teams and end users
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate feedback throughout the project lifecycle
* Contribute to project plans in alignment with PMO standards and project leadership guidance
* Communicate delivery milestones and timelines based on capacity and priorities
* Ensure timely delivery of solutions that meet defined requirements and expectations
* Investigate, design, and implement new business solutions and enhancements to existing systems
* Translate business needs into data and technical solutions through complex analysis
* Support data training to ensure effective use of data platforms and BI reports
* Cross-train peers across subject matter and technical areas
* Partner with architects, developers, project managers, and analysts to define use cases and solution requirements
* Lead and present requirements and analysis outcomes to management, technical, and business stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience defining, reviewing, and maintaining end-to-end data platform requirements
* Strong communication skills with the ability to propose and explain solutions to technical and business stakeholders
* Experience working with sensitive healthcare data and knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy controls
* Strong knowledge of data warehousing and enterprise data solutions
* Excellent data analytics and data profiling skills
* Present analysis results to management, technical teams, and business stakeholders
* Contribute to project planning and support project managers as needed
* Translate business requirements into data warehouse and business intelligence solutions
* Support data training to ensure effective use of data warehouse and BI platforms
* Familiarity with AWS cloud services and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake
* Strong SQL querying skills
* Working knowledge of at least one BI tool such as Tableau or Cognos

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
