We are seeking an experienced
Java Software Engineer to join our growing team!
What You'll Be Doing:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Designing, developing, testing, and debugging software applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Identifying and resolving software defects and performance issues
- Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of software development processes and practices
- Creating technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business requirements
- Staying up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies
*This position is remote within the United States and offers flexibility in work location. However, the role requires up to 25% travel, which may include site visits, client meetings, team offsites, or industry events. Travel will be scheduled as needed based on project demands and business priorities.
Required Clearance:- Must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2+ years of related experience
- Strong programming skills in Java (preferred), C#, or Python
- Demonstrated coding or software development experience through internships, academic projects, or professional work
- Experience driving technical decisions, including problem breakdown, solution identification, and effective communication with engineering teams
- A valid U.S. passport is required for all official travel outside the continental United States (OCONUS)
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- Proficiency in writing clean, well-documented, and well-tested code using industry best practices
- Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures and their practical applications
- Experience with production-quality coding standards and design patterns
- Passion for developing customer-focused solutions
- Experience with container-based solutions (e.g., Docker, containerd, or Podman)
- Experience with microservices and/or distributed computing development
- GUI development experience (Java Swing, JavaFX) and RESTful API design (JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or ReactJS)
- Experience with NASA World Wind Java, RaptorX, and/or TAK is a plus
- Foundational knowledge of Electromagnetic Warfare (EW), Electronic Attack (EA), and related platforms and capabilities
- Experience in RF, EW, SIGINT/ELINT, or Strike domains is a plus
- Former Military or Intelligence Community (IC) experience is a plus
Security Clearance Requirement:An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $74,800.00 - $130,900.00
