Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a technically proficient individual who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of manufacturing maintenance, including welding, PLC programming, industrial electrical systems, hydraulic maintenance, and a solid understanding of OSHA guidelines. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Performing routine and preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate.

2. Inspecting, operating, or testing machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.

3. Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.

4. Assembling, installing, or repairing wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.

5. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.

6. Applying knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions in compliance with all safety policies and procedures, especially OSHA guidelines.

7. Utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

8. Participating in continuous improvement activities, learning and applying new technologies to improve the production process.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Maintenance Technician role, candidates must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role.

2. Proven experience with welding, PLC programming, industrial electrical systems, and hydraulic maintenance.

3. A solid understanding of OSHA guidelines and a commitment to all health and safety regulations.

4. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues.

6. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.

7. A high degree of mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

8. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

9. A relevant technical qualification or equivalent is preferred.
