Summary
Title: Sr. Level Biztalk .NET Software Engineer
Location: Houston, Texas
Onsite: 5 Days a Week
Interview type: Teams Interview and then possible onsite
Description:
Perform production support activities for our Commercial Operations and Commercial Services groups on their Pipeline and LNG Transaction Management and Measurement systems.
Responsibilities include:
Organize and perform requirements gathering, design, testing, and support of enhancements to the LNG Transaction Management system for liquefaction and the Pipeline Transaction Management system.
Work on future requirements, design, and testing efforts for additional applications needed by Commercial Operations, Commercial Services, Marine, and Land groups.
Provide technical support for EDI transactions.
Assist with BI reporting and support ancillary systems.
Provide 3rd party application support and participate in new development projects.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills)
Education:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Engineering, or Business-related field.
Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience, including business analysis, data management, troubleshooting, new development, report writing, testing, change management, web application design, and project management.
Skills/Competencies:
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently across multiple areas, disciplines, or job families on complex assignments with minimal guidance.
Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Strong ability to work with support teams, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
Participate in software design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Ability to handle multiple projects or high-priority support issues simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills to resolve complex issues.
Experience writing and executing application functionality and accuracy tests.
Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing across multiple business areas.
Work closely with project managers on business and technology projects, interacting with professionals and technicians across departments and outside Cheniere.
Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile models, and project management methodologies.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of SQL: writing/modifying stored procedures, creating/modifying tables and views, and writing complex queries.
Strong troubleshooting skills for 3rd party and custom applications.
Experience with EDI support is a plus.
Ability to create and modify reports in BI and Crystal Reports is a plus.
Familiarity with BizTalk, Azure DevOps, .NET, and ReactJS is a plus.
