We are looking for a Automation Architect - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Pleasanton, CA

Job Title: Automation Architect - Remote / Telecommute

Job Location: Pleasanton, CA

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Pay Range: $57hr - $62hr

Requirement/Must Have:

Strong experience in API Testing and Integration Testing.
Must have knowledge of Elevance Health systems including EDP, Member, Benefits, WGS, ISG, Spider, WPD, and Accum ODS.
Proficiency in at least one automation tool such as Selenium, Cucumber, or IBM RFT.
Strong knowledge of automation frameworks including Data-Driven, Hybrid, and Page Object Model.
Hands-on scripting experience using Python or Core Java.
Working knowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
Strong communication skills.

Experience:

15+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.

Responsibilities:

Understand and articulate business and technical problems addressed by the application.
Break down complex requirements into clear and testable scenarios.
Define the testing strategy, master test plan, and overall test schedule.
Drive testing across Component, Integration, UAT, and Production phases.
Set direction and quality standards for testing across multiple teams.
Identify test data requirements and create mock or synthetic test data when needed.
Support and improve automation frameworks and test processes.
Work in Agile or Scrum environments managing test and defect lifecycle.
Lead quality initiatives across large programs.

Should Have:

Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
Self-driven and quality-focused approach.

Qualification and Education:
