Summary

Senior Mechanical Engineer (Data Center & Industrial HVAC)
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in high-complexity HVAC systems to lead mechanical design for a premier engineering firm. This role focuses on "mission-critical" and advanced technology facilities, including Data Centers, Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing, and Heavy Industrial plants.

As a Senior Engineer, you will lead building mechanical teams through the full design lifecycle-from conceptual calculations and P&IDs to final construction documents and facility startup.

Key Responsibilities
Advanced HVAC Design: Lead the layout and design of specialized systems requiring precise temperature/humidity control, unique pressurization, and clean room standards.
Technical Documentation: Develop design criteria, perform sizing calculations, and create Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Full-Lifecycle Engineering: Produce final specifications, sequences of operation, piping layouts (chilled water, cooling water, etc.), and ductwork systems.
Project Leadership: Manage mechanical teams on large-scale projects, coordinating seamlessly with remote, multi-disciplinary teams.
Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and professional development to junior engineering staff.

Required Qualifications (Must Haves)
Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) License is required.
Experience: * Minimum 7+ years in the design of complex HVAC systems.
Minimum 2+ years of specific experience in Data Center HVAC systems.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of industry codes and standards related to mechanical building systems.
Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead teams under tight deadlines and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills
Software Mastery: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.
