Description This individual will be expected to provide expertise and guide development efforts in the following activities:
- Provide oversight on the analysis and design for enterprise applications;
- Expected to guide in the development of applications throughout the SDLC;
- Implement standards related to application technologies, including UI standards, development methodology, and coding and style guides;
- Develop and guide quality assurance processes including code reviews, performance testing, security scans, and adherence to industry, state, and federal standards;
- Identify and escalate technical risks and issues appropriately;
- Prepare, and/or review technical documentation such as system architecture designs, schemas, solution proposals, as appropriate.
Mandatory Qualification: 1. 84 months experience using HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like Sass/Less), and JavaScript (ES6+); RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming; experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js). 2. 84 months experience in build tools (e.g., Webpack, Parcel), version control (Git), and browser developer tools for debugging and performance analysis 3. 84 months experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD; prototyping frameworks or libraries for more complex interactive prototypes 4. 84 months experience implementing designs that meet WCAG 2.1 or compliance standards. Developed and enforced usability guidelines and accessibility best practices within development teams, leading to a measurable reduction in user-reported usability issues. 5. 72 months experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, QA) on product development cycles, ensuring alignment and timely delivery. Mentored junior designers or developers on UI/UX best practices, contributing to team skill development. 6. 72 months experience leading and executing user research initiatives; translating research findings into actionable design recommendations; in collaboration tools (e.g., Jira), user research platforms (e.g., UserTesting.com, Lookback), survey tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Typeform), data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, basic statistical software), and collaboration tools for sharing insights (e.g., Miro, Mural).
