Job Title: Senior QA Analyst (Software Test Analyst)
Location: Dimondale, MI (Hybrid - Onsite Tue/Wed, Remote Mon/Thu/Fri)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Interview Mode: Virtual (MS Teams - Video Required)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst with strong expertise in software testing, quality assurance processes, and backend validation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality delivery of enterprise applications through effective test planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and system requirements to develop detailed test plans and test cases
- Perform manual and backend functional testing to validate application performance
- Track, document, and manage defects using QA tools
- Review and enhance test plan templates to ensure full test coverage
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders for issue resolution
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in QA requirements analysis and test planning
- 5+ years of experience in QA execution and defect tracking
- 5+ years of experience with QA tools (e.g., Rational, HP ALM, or similar)
- 5+ years of backend functional testing experience
- Strong ability to review, adapt, and improve test plans
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Financials
- Experience with GenTax
- Experience using Oxygen XML Editor
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with required onsite days
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable participating in virtual interviews with video and screen sharing
