Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Project Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end execution of large-scale construction initiatives. You will serve as the primary architect for project baselines, ensuring that every project is delivered safely, on time, and within strict budgetary parameters.
This is a strategic oversight role. You will be responsible for balancing the demands of internal stakeholders, local municipal authorities, and third-party construction partners. If you are a disciplined professional who excels at managing the "triple constraint" of project management-scope, schedule, and cost-and you have a track record of delivering projects with zero regulatory non-compliance, this is an ideal role for you.
Key Responsibilities
Project Governance & Delivery
Baseline Management: Establish and maintain project scope, schedule, and cost baselines. Proactively monitor progress against these plans and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur.
Capital Oversight: Track project capital spends and projected spend patterns. Provide regular, accurate status updates to project leadership regarding budget variance and milestone achievement.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work performed complies with safety policies, best practices, and construction standards. Maintain a flawless record of compliance with no significant regulatory citations or violations.
Stakeholder & Contractor Management
External Liaison: Cultivate and promote professional relationships with external municipalities and local regulatory authorities to ensure project permits and compliance requirements are met.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate effectively with project specialists, inspection teams, and internal staff to ensure project success.
Contractor Oversight: Lead and mentor field construction partners, ensuring their work aligns with project quality standards and customer expectations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience Baseline: Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects.
Budgetary Mastery: Minimum of three (3) years of direct experience managing capital project budgets and contractor billing/invoicing.
Field Acumen: Minimum of three (3) years working directly with construction contractors in a project management capacity.
Logistics: Valid Driver's License and the ability to travel to project sites up to 40% of the time.
Preferred Attributes
Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Technical Software: Proficiency in construction scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and advanced MS Excel.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of local, state, and federal construction codes.
