About the Job- We are looking for an experienced Epic Genomics & Research Specialist to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, GATK, PLINK along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret genomic/NGS datasets.
- Support research studies, literature reviews, and scientific reporting.
- Perform genomic data QC, variant analysis, and annotation.
- Develop and maintain bioinformatics workflows/pipelines.
- Collaborate with research, clinical, and data science teams.
- Document findings and contribute to reports/publications.
Requirements:
- MSc/PhD in Genomics, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Experience with NGS/genomic data analysis.
- Proficiency in Python/R/Bash and Linux.
- Knowledge of tools such as GATK, BWA, Samtools, VEP, or PLINK is preferred.
- Strong analytical and scientific communication skills.
