Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Hadoop Developer to design, develop, and maintain big data solutions using the Hadoop ecosystem. The ideal candidate will work with large datasets, build data pipelines, and support data processing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain big data applications using Hadoop ecosystem tools
Design and implement data pipelines using Hive, Pig, or Spark
Write efficient MapReduce or Spark jobs for data processing
Ingest, transform, and load large datasets from multiple sources
Work with HDFS for data storage and management
Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to support analytics needs
Optimize performance and ensure data quality and reliability

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig)
Hands-on experience with Apache Spark
Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python / Shell)
Understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts
Experience with Linux/Unix environments
Knowledge of Kafka, Sqoop, or Flume is a plus

Experience:

8+ years of experience in Hadoop / Big Data development
