Programmer Analyst

Role Overview
We are seeking a Programmer Analyst (Business Analyst focus) to support enterprise IT initiatives in Lansing, MI, working within Agile/Hybrid environments to drive requirements, testing, and solution delivery. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions while supporting full SDLC activities. The job is open to candidates within the 100 miles radius of Lansing, MI.

Key Responsibilities
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into user stories with acceptance criteria
Break down complex requirements into manageable user stories considering technical constraints and dependencies
Lead artifact reviews and ensure compliance with project methodologies and standards
Collaborate with Product Owner to manage and prioritize product backlog
Conduct Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and demos
Develop test plans, test cases, RTMs, and support UAT, functional, and regression testing
Monitor defect tracking logs and facilitate issue resolution
Validate estimates, schedules, test data, and test results
Create system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and support RFP documentation
Act as liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams
Develop training materials and facilitate end-user training
Maintain communication plans and provide project-level reporting

Required Skills (with Years)
Business Analysis / Programmer Analyst experience 4+ years
Agile/Hybrid methodologies (Scrum/Kanban, user stories, backlog management) 4+ years
Requirements gathering & user story creation (BDD/Gherkin) 4+ years
Testing (UAT, Functional, Regression, RTM, defect tracking) 4+ years
Vendor-based project environments 4+ years
Communication & stakeholder management 4+ years
