Position Title: APM and Observability Manager
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise Observability and Monitoring initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, and application environments. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end delivery of monitoring transformation programs involving tools such as Dynatrace, Cribl, Splunk Observability Cloud.
This role requires strong project management, stakeholder communication, and technical coordination skills to drive monitoring modernization, observability adoption, incident reduction, and operational excellence initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of IT project management experience.
- 3+ years managing Observability, Monitoring, APM, or SRE-related projects.
- Strong understanding of:
- Application Performance Monitoring (APM):
- Infrastructure monitoring
- Log management
- Distributed tracing
- Synthetic monitoring
- Incident management
Experience managing projects involving one or more observability platforms:
- Dynatrace
- Datadog
- New Relic
- Splunk Observability Cloud
- Grafana Labs
Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as:
- AWS
- Azure
Compensation: 70-80/hr on w2. This is the targeted compensation range for this role. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
