Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with 7-10 years of professional experience to join our Messaging Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a particular emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Node.js, React, backend APIs, and Java technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our messaging platform, ensuring high performance and platform responsiveness
Key Responsibilities:
- Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services using modern technologies and frameworks, with a focus on React for front-end development and Node.js/Java/Spring for back-end services.
- API Development: Create and manage robust RESTful APIs to support messaging functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) for deploying and managing applications, utilizing Google Cloud Platform services to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas and queries for relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Code Quality and Security: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding and security standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Testing and Debugging: Implement automated testing and debugging processes to ensure the reliability and performance of applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Deployment and Monitoring: Manage deployment processes on Google Cloud Platform and monitor application performance in production environments. Utilize CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in full stack development, with a strong portfolio of web applications and services.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.
- Strong experience with back-end technologies, particularly Node.js and Java, for building scalable applications and RESTful APIs.
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) for application deployment and management.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with cloud-native application development and microservices architecture on Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with messaging protocols and technologies
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
