Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant
Location: Charlotte, NC or Des Moines, IA (Hybrid)
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant to support a large enterprise technology organization focused on Home Lending Technology. This role is ideal for professionals who excel at bridging the gap between business and technology, driving strategic initiatives, improving operational processes, and leading cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives and deliver scalable business solutions.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to analyze complex requirements and define functional solutions.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements.
  • Evaluate business challenges and recommend strategic technology improvements.
  • Lead project documentation, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Support enterprise operational processes, incident management, and technology governance.
  • Drive root cause analysis and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Prepare executive-level communications and business reporting.
  • Utilize AI tools (such as Microsoft Copilot) to improve operational efficiency while maintaining data accuracy and governance.
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of Business Execution, Business Systems Analysis, Strategic Planning, or Technology Implementation experience.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise operational and monitoring tools including:
    • ServiceNow
    • Splunk
    • Grafana
    • Dynatrace
    • AppDynamics
    • Jira
    • Everbridge
    • Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot (or similar) to summarize information, generate business communications, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting Major Incident Management or Technology Command Center operations.
  • Knowledge of enterprise incident communication frameworks and governance.
  • Experience leading high-priority incident bridges involving multiple teams.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to executive leadership.
  • Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning.
  • Experience supporting IT controls, compliance, and information security initiatives.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.
