Job Details

Senior Accountant - Manufacturing

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with manufacturing experience to support financial reporting and accounting operations across U.S. and Canadian entities. This role partners with shared service teams and internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and accounting processes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including local statutory reporting requirements

Support and execute month-end and year-end close processes

Review accounting outputs from shared service teams to ensure completeness and accuracy

Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses

Partner with finance leadership to resolve open balance sheet items and accounting discrepancies

Prepare and review journal entries during the close process

Provide oversight of billing and customer invoicing activities handled by shared services

Assist with resolution of complex supplier inquiries and financial discrepancies

Act as a liaison between shared services and internal teams to resolve financial transaction issues

Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support to the business

Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

CPA or CPA-track preferred

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment

Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with finance and operations teams
