Duration: 6+ Months (with possible extension or conversion)
The position is hybrid (60% remote, 40% onsite) with 40% travel expected, so candidates must be local to Alpharetta, GA and hold a valid driver's license.
About the Role
We are seeking a Solution Engineer to support delivery and implementation across the Industrial Cybersecurity Services portfolio. This role requires strong technical expertise, customer-facing consulting skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across sales, delivery, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Security Assessments: Execute OT/industrial security assessments (site/remote), validate asset inventories, identify risks, and deliver actionable remediation plans.
Network Security Design: Implement segmentation, DMZ patterns, firewall policies, and OT/IT integration hardening.
Remote Operations Enablement: Define secure remote access patterns, operational runbooks, monitoring procedures, and customer handover artifacts.
System Integrity Services: Support endpoint protection rollout, vulnerability scanning (Vilocify + PoC), patching strategies, and backup/restore validation.
Documentation & Reporting: Produce customer-ready deliverables (assessment reports, architectures, SOPs) and contribute to Siemens playbooks/templates.
Qualifications (Must-Have)
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 3+ years in OT/industrial environments (manufacturing, utilities, energy).
Proven expertise with ICS/OT architectures and security controls (segmentation, remote access, monitoring).
Familiarity with IEC 62443 / NIST frameworks and ability to translate them into practical controls.
Hands-on experience with firewalls, segmentation, DMZ design, endpoint protection, and vulnerability assessments.
Strong customer-facing consulting skills, including requirements capture, documentation, executive readouts, and project coordination.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications (CISSP, GICSP, Security+, vendor firewall certs).
Experience with Vilocify-based vulnerability engagements and PoCs.
