MuleSoft Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled MuleSoft Developer to join our integration team and help design, develop, and support enterprise API and integration solutions. This individual will be responsible for building scalable integrations between cloud and on-premise applications using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate is passionate about API-led connectivity, enjoys solving complex integration challenges, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Build reusable APIs, connectors, and integration services following API-led connectivity principles.
  • Develop integrations between SaaS, cloud, and on-premises applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain RAML specifications, API documentation, and technical design documents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures.
  • Monitor API performance and implement improvements for scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
  • Support CI/CD deployment processes and DevOps initiatives.
  • Ensure integrations adhere to enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience developing integrations with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Strong knowledge of DataWeave, RAML, XML, JSON, and SOAP/REST protocols.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer certification.
  • Experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or Hybrid deployments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS).
  • Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, API security, and enterprise authentication methods.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
