Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Java + AI Engineer to design, develop, and enhance scalable software applications and intelligent solutions. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and modern backend development, along with practical experience integrating AI/Generative AI technologies into applications.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
Integrate AI/Generative AI capabilities into applications and backend services.
Work with LLMs, AI APIs, and AI-powered services to build intelligent application features.
Develop solutions that leverage AI for automation, search, recommendations, content generation, and other business use cases.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Design and implement reliable, maintainable, and high-performance software.
Integrate applications with databases, APIs, cloud services, and distributed systems.
Troubleshoot application issues and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and technical design.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
Stay current with emerging AI and software engineering technologies.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java.
Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Hands-on experience integrating AI/Generative AI technologies into software applications.
Experience working with LLMs, AI APIs, or AI-powered application features.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Experience developing scalable, production-ready applications.
Experience with automated testing and modern software development practices.
Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
