Role Overview

The Palantir Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing the Palantir Foundry and/or Palantir Gotham environments. This role ensures platform stability, security, user access governance, and supports data-driven operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration

* Administer and maintain Palantir environments (Foundry/Gotham)
* Manage workspaces, projects, ontologies, and pipelines
* Monitor system health, performance, and usage

User & Access Management

* Configure role-based access control (RBAC)
* Manage users, groups, and permissions
* Ensure compliance with security and governance policies

Data & Pipeline Management

* Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline orchestration
* Troubleshoot pipeline failures and data quality issues
* Optimize data workflows for performance and cost

Security & Compliance

* Implement data security policies (PII, PHI handling if applicable)
* Conduct audits and ensure compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, etc.)
* Integrate with enterprise identity providers (SSO, LDAP)

Integration & Automation

* Integrate Palantir with external systems (APIs, data lakes, warehouses)
* Automate administrative tasks using scripts and APIs
* Support CI/CD practices for data pipelines

Support & Collaboration

* Provide L2/L3 support to data engineers, analysts, and business users
* Conduct user onboarding and training sessions
* Collaborate with platform engineering and DevOps teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

* Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry or Gotham administration
* Strong SQL and data engineering fundamentals
* Familiarity with Python (for automation and debugging)
* Understanding of distributed systems and data pipelines
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

Security & Governance

* Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, and data governance frameworks
* Experience with SSO tools (Okta, Azure AD)

DevOps & Tools

* Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines
* Monitoring/logging tools experience
