Rate: $40/hr on W2 (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Java / AWS Developer with strong expertise in Java, Python, and AWS cloud services to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS ECS, Lambda, S3, relational databases, and microservices architecture.Required Skills5+ years of software development experience.Advanced proficiency in Java and strong experience with Python.Hands-on experience with AWS ECS for web services and batch processing.Experience with AWS Lambda and Amazon S3.Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.Knowledge of AWS Redshift and cloud data warehouses.Strong understanding of microservices, serverless architecture, and REST APIs.Experience with event-driven architectures and cloud application development.Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred SkillsExperience with AWS multi-account environments and cross-account roles and access policies.Familiarity with Okta integration, Single Sign-On (SSO), and application security.Experience designing and deploying scalable applications on AWS. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java and Python applications on and support microservices, serverless applications, and REST APIs.Develop and manage AWS ECS services for web applications and batch processing.Implement AWS Lambda functions and S3 integrations.Develop and optimize database queries using PostgreSQL and AWS Redshift.Implement secure access controls and cloud integration patterns.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
